Teaching Artist Roster Program

The Teaching Artist Roster Program is a collaborative effort between the Central Minnesota Arts Board, Perpich Center for Arts Education, and Paramount Visual Arts Center to train artists within the four counties of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright, by providing them with the skills to conduct artist residencies based on specific curriculum and/or programming goals. Rostered artists successfully completed training over a six-month period in preparation for working in a residency program. They are strong individual artists who are able to support educators by making connections between their art form and the Minnesota State standards in the arts. Many of these teaching artists are also skilled at integrating the arts with concepts in other subject areas, professional development for educators, or working with specific student populations.

Once you have selected an artist, contact them to discuss options for your residency. Based on your discussion, the artist will submit a residency plan to the CMAB for funding up to $1,500 with a maximum of $300 in reimbursement for the cost of supplies.
