VISUAL ARTIST – Painting, Drawing, Murals and Painted Furniture

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
I grew up near St. Joseph, MN and the inspiration for my work comes from details of everyday life in small-town America. I paint, mostly with acrylics on canvas, but I also enjoy working on murals and painting furniture. (Chairs, tables, and brooms!) My paintings are bright and full of color and depict little snapshots of life; A couple dancing around the kitchen table, still holding cups and spoons from the meal....A man on a bike being pursued by a pack of little dogs.... A view of the full moon over silvery trees. The moments that make up each and every day, and that little by little makes up a life. I sell mostly original artwork and would love to illustrate children's books!

    My painted furniture can always be seen at my favorite coffee shop, The Village Bean in Avon.
