BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I have been carving wood for over 30 years and teaching woodcarving in the Upper-MidWest for 25 years. My work is available, locally, at the Arts Co-op in downtown St Cloud. I am a charter member of this shop which is now in its 20th year of opperation.
Over the past 20 years, I have placed 1-3 many times at carving competitions and art events. I have written and published 6 different carving pattern and instruction books. I have been an "artist in residence" off and on throughout my career working with children. I teach carving in soap using safe tools to teach subtractive sculpture. I have a sculpy clay program for additive sculpture.
Over the past 28 years, I have sold my work through regional and local art fairs and woodcarving events. I have been an invited artist at the NorskHostFest in Minot ND for the past 8 years. In August of 2004, I was a juror at the Uptown Art Fair in Mpls.

I have taught art classes/private lessons for adults/students. I have done teaching/demonstrating in a school setting. I have acted as a Juror/panelist for arts grants/competitions. I have sold my work at art fairs. I have done commissioned work.
