Artist in Residency Grant

CMAB Fiscal Year starts July 1, 2012 and ends June 30, 2013

Artist in Residencies (AIR) enhances education through the arts with supportive grants with a maximum of $3,000 and a 10% match for schools and nonprofit organizations to engage professional artists. The intention of any residency proposal must be to increase interaction between students, community members and professional artists.

Who Can Apply

  • Arts nonprofit 501(c) (3) organizations or arts groups without nonprofit designation that have the arts as a primary focus using a fiscal agent
  • Nonprofits that do not have arts as a primary focus, such as schools, senior centers, community education, cultural groups and colleges for arts focused activities
  • Local governments in Region 7W (city, township and county) for arts focused activities
