High School Artist Opportunities - Scholarship

CMAB Fiscal Year starts July 1, 2011 and ends June 30, 2012

The Central Minnesota Arts Board awards SCHOLARSHIPS in the areas of: visual arts, music, performance arts, and literature. These scholarships are designed to help high school seniors who want to further their education in the arts.

Six students will be awarded scholarships of $2,000 per selected student. Scholarships may be renewable for up to an additional three years as long as the student is eligible and funds are available.

Who can apply:

  • High School seniors who reside in Region 7W that intend to major in an arts field.  Awarded scholarships are renewable up to the original scholarship amount for an additional three years as long as the student meets CMAB criteria and funding is available
  • High school students can apply for an artist mentorship or a scholarship during a fiscal year but not both
