Small Cap Arts - Schools

CMAB Fiscal Year starts July 1, 2014 and ends June 30, 2015

The Small Capital Arts Grant provides funds of up to $3,500 with a 50% match requirement for the purchase of equipment and related supplies to make capital improvements in public schools. Such activities must have the potential for a significant long-term impact on arts programming in the school.

Capital purchase funds are used to acquire or upgrade physical assets such as property, industrial buildings or equipment. Items proposed for capital purchase must have a minimum unit price of $300 with a useful life greater than one year. Bulk purchases of the same lower-priced capital items with a combined price of $300 or more are considered one unit.

WHO CAN APPLY
Public schools located in the Minnesota Counties of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns or Wright (Region 7W). Separate school buildings in the same school district may apply individually.
