The Central Minnesota Arts Board (CMAB) awarded $10,869 in Small Capital Arts Grants to four area nonprofit arts organizations.
The CMAB Small Capital Arts Grant to Nonprofits program provides funds of up to $3,500 with a 15% match requirement to purchase equipment, related non-consumable supplies and services to make capital improvements. CMAB Awards Small Capital Arts Grants to Four Area Schools
The Central Minnesota Arts Board (CMAB), at their June 2014 meeting, awarded four area schools with capital grants totaling $9,248.00.
The CMAB Small Capital Arts Grant to Schools provides grants for up to $3,500 with a 50% match requirement to public schools for the purchase of non-consumable capital resources used for arts programming. CMAB Awards Seven Student Arts Scholarships
The Central Minnesota Arts Board (CMAB) recently awarded seven area high school seniors with scholarships totaling $9,000. The Student Arts Scholarship Program is designed to help graduating seniors who want to further their education in the arts.
Each applicant must submit up to five art samples and three references along with answers to a set of questions. Applicants are scored according to evaluation criteria and awarded funding in rank order. Full Story
Central MN Arts Board awards Project Grants to area organizations
At the April meeting, the Central Minnesota Arts Board (CMAB) awarded $111,574 in support of twenty-two regional arts projects. Central Minnesota Arts Board Receives Statewide Recognition For Effective Use Of Legacy Funds
WILLMAR – Conservation Minnesota and Minnesota Citizens for the Arts recognized the Central Minnesota Arts Board on Thursday at Arts Advocacy Day for the impact the organization is having statewide utilizing funds provided by the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.
In 2008, the voters of Minnesota overwhelmingly approved the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment which added 3/8 of one percent to the state’s sales tax, and dedicated the revenue to projects that would help preserve the state’s arts and outdoors legacy. READ MORE
Ten Area Artists Receive CMAB/McKnight Individual Artist Awards
Ten CMAB/McKnight Individual Artist Award (IAA) recipients were announced this week.
The $5,000 Established Artist Award is designed for artists with a history of exhibition, performances, publications, or other notable contributions to their local arts community through personal creative output. The $3,000 Emerging Artist Awards recognize and encourage outstanding artists in various stages of their careers. READ MORE
