The Artist Emergency Assistance Program has been created to provide individuals up to $500 to assist with income lost due to isolation efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Funding for this program is provided through the McKnight Foundation.

Applicants may request an Artist Emergency Assistance grant if:
Income has been lost through cancelled performances, teaching opportunities or other scheduled arts engagements
Creative work is the PRIMARY source of an artist’s income

Applications will be available on a rolling basis until funds have been expended.

WHO CAN APPLY

  • Artists at least 18 years of age
  • Residents of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, or Wright County who have lived in MINNESOTA for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Either a U.S. citizen or attained permanent resident alien status
