I am currently in to “dead coloring” it’s a technique with the paint that makes the colors appear dull. Then a realistic picture is created with these colors. It’s also has techniques required with the brush. The brushes must be dry, the paint will be mixed in small portions and add to the painting lightly in box shapes until the color is not spreading anymore. This will give the picture a smooth matte look. It requires building up many lairs. There is also a lot of scumbling to create shadow and give shape. I have a long history with art and I am passionate about creating it and guiding others.
