Central Minnesota Youth Orchestra was formed on July 19, 2013 by a group of professional musicians and music enthusiasts. Since then, CMYO has become a non-profit 501(c)(3) youth orchestra offering opportunities like: three tiered ensembles based on skills, master classes with professional guest artists, instrumental skill development, field trips, performing concerts in the region, and meeting other students who have the passion for music.
