
At the June 7, 2024, meeting, the Central MN Arts Board (CMAB) awarded $4,000 in Teaching Artist Grants (TAG) to support local artists in conducting arts learning activities in community settings. Funding for the TAG program is provided by the McKnight Foundation.
1. Tracy Rittmueller, $2,000, to lead a writer’s cohort in a 3-session residency exploring voice as a creative practice focused on “Identity, Agency, and Connection” in Sartell and St. Cloud, MN.
2. Cristina Seaborn, $2,000, to lead a Barn Dance residency for middle and high school students at Cathedral and Saint Katharine Drexel Schools, St. Cloud, MN.
The Teaching Artist Grant (TAG) is available to artists who complete the CMAB Teaching Artist Roster Program and are listed on CMAB’s Teaching Artist Roster. The goal of the program is to support local artists in sharing their knowledge, skills and process with learners throughout the region.
