The Artist in Residence (AIR) program provides funds of up to $3,500 to schools and nonprofit organizations in support of activities directed by, or conducted in cooperation with, an artist who engages students and enables learning through the creative process. These funds are provided through the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Resident artists must be chosen on the basis of their ability to enhance programs and curriculum.

Applicants must serve Region 7W residents and be located within the Minnesota counties of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, or Wright.
